The Bonk Leg
I was lucky enough to be born with a club foot. It was named “Bonk Leg” by my best mate Jamie Nancarrow and it has stuck. It has become a mascot for my local rugby Beaufort RFC.
I wouldn’t change it if I could it. It has defined me more than anything else.
My Family
My name is Matthew Hopkins, I live in Tredegar with my long suffering, but very understanding partner Alison and my cracking kids Josie (8) and Thomas (4). I love them more than anything. Sometimes its easy to get caught up in my work or my own activities but deep in my heart I only really enjoy the time I spend with them.
